Appreciate the effort on the response, but I disagree with you on this one. Klout doesn’t matter.
Influencer marketing is definitely on the rise, but Klout is not. There are better tools for measuring social influence and the best ones are platform-specific. FanPageKarma for Facebook, Riffle by CrowdRiff for Twitter and Iconosquare for Instagram for example.
If an agency is still using Klout to measure an influencer’s worth, I’d argue that they’re behind the curve.
